The Digital Confidence for the Workplace course is a comprehensive experience delivered virtually. Students can discover what digital skills will help them succeed in the workplace.

Course modules:
Work Based software: spreadsheets, professional emails, presentations, teams meetings, Power Bi.
Networking and Research: how to create a LinkedIn profile, how to research online effectively.
AI and Gamification: using AI in job search, using AI in research, how platforms use gamification to engage.
Internet safety: how to critically think online and internet safety.
Coding: TinkerCAD, Python and Scratch.
Digital careers including discovering different career options and then the final project on a choice of four areas covered in the course, Data Analysis, AI, Coding or Research.
At the end of the scheme, students graduate with a Silver Industrial Cadet Award, a nationally recognised award that students can use as evidence of their experience and take forward to complement their future applications and career journeys.
